PRESCOTT — An Edwardsburgh Cardinal resident faces charges of impaired driving and driving while exceeding the legal blood alcohol concentration after police stopped a motorist at a drive-through last week.
Grenville County Ontario Provincial Police responded to a traffic complaint on Edward Street in Prescott just before 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 29.
Police located a driver at a drive-through, spoke to him and used an approved screening device at the scene, OPP noted on Wednesday, Aug. 5.
Police arrested the man and took him to the detachment for further testing.
