GANANOQUE – A 30-year-old man faces charges in connection with thefts from a business on King Street East reported to Gananoque police on Wednesday.
The man’s arrest followed an investigation that included video surveillance, police said Friday. He was charged with two counts of theft under $5,000 and with breach of probation.
The accused was released and is to appear in court at a later date.
Youth charged with assault
Gananoque police made an arrest after responding to a report of an assault in a park on Wednesday.
After obtaining witness statements, police arrested a youth, who was charged with one count of assault.
The accused was released with conditions and is to make a court appearance at a later date.
