The Brockville Braves have to wait until Sunday night to try to win their fifth game in a row.

Brockville was to have hosted the Yzerman Division-leading Rockland Nationals at the Memorial Centre on Friday night. However, a power outage earlier in the day forced the game to be postponed. A make-up date had not been announced when this article was published.

The Braves (11-4-3) are in third place in the CCHL’s Robinson Division. Brockville travels to Pembroke for a Sunday night game against the Lumber Kings, who were one point behind the Braves as of Friday afternoon. Brockville had three games in hand on Pembroke.

The Braves also have a road game in Cornwall on Thursday night before hosting Kemptville on Friday night.

Former Brave and current Cornwall Colt Emerick Nadeau is on the CCHL official roster for an exhibition all-star game against a Quebec league team to be held in Terrebonne on Tuesday. The event includes players from both leagues who are on the radar to represent Team Canada East at the World Jr. A Challenge in British Columbia in December, noted a CCHL news release issued on Thursday.

Nadeau, who was Brockville’s Rookie of the Year last season, has scored 11 goals for Cornwall this year. There are no Brockville Braves on the CCHL roster.
